To celebrate the launch of Superga’s new global ambassador, Hailey Bieber, we were asked to create an attention-grabbing, engaging retail pop-up in Sydney’s Pitt Street Mall. The aim was to showcase the new brand film and imagery, the shoes, and encourage consumers to enter a competition hosted by the brand.
To coincide with the launch on 15th March 2021, we created a Superga takeover at the entrance of Westfield Sydney. Different shoe styles were displayed on plinths and surrounded by large screens that played the campaign video of Bieber dancing on a New York rooftop in her classic Supergas, on a loop. The addition of large signs featuring the hero campaign imagery surrounding the pop-up ensured we made a large impact and piqued the interest of passers-by.
QR codes to enter the competition were prominently displayed throughout the space, offering entrants the chance to win coveted prizes. And in keeping with the theme of great Italian design and quality, we accompanied the event with free ice cream giveaways from Italian/Australian favourite, Messina.
Through an exciting and engaging activation, the event successfully launched the latest campaign, announcement of Hailey Bieber as global ambassador and cemented Superga as one of Italy’s greatest exports – all to a large audience in the heart of Sydney.
