Nike
Free Studio
Engineered for freedom, Nike sought to create a pop-up studio for runners to celebrate and promote the launch of the Nike Free.
A light-filled and architecturally considered Nike Free Studio pops up for a fortnight along Melbourne’s Tan running track, capturing dedicated runners and educating them on the benefits of the Nike Free 5.0. Designed to reach women who are serious about running and focused on performance and execution, the studio highlights how the Nike Free can be used within a runner’s holistic training regime via enriching touch-points, biophilic design, and a multi-sensory therapeutic approach.
Allowing nature to prevail, the space connected directly back to the fundamental beliefs of natural motion, on which the Nike Free was originally conceived. Mimicking the outdoors, we designed an unexpected and exclusive experience for Nike+ members, as well as targeted local running groups, by bringing outside elements in. With an overwhelmingly positive response from guests, the space was booked out for back-to-back events and inspired countless runners in the community to discover the Free.
