American Express, once again, came out as principal partner to support Mardi Gras and Sydney WorldPride 2023. The brand took the opportunity to expand on their brand campaign “Express Yourself” and enlisted us to take it to the next level.

We created an exuberant, playful, and vibrant multifaceted series of events that encouraged full individual expression. Amex’s signature blue coupled up with the symbol of Pride – the iconic rainbow – marked the series of vibrant, immersive experiences across Sydney. Oxford Street’s famed The Oxford Hotel’ was transformed into Amex House, a joyful beacon of pride, welcome to all. This styling was woven through the Amex Bar & Lounge at Fair Day, and it was splashed across the lavish Mardi Gras float that took a playful spin on Amex’s hero colour blue.

We amplified Amex as a major platform for the LGBTQIA+ community, with a headline-grabbing event series that embodied acceptance, self-expression, and freedom.
